John has taught in the juvenile prison system of Los Angeles county for the past 12 years and is head of education outreach of Antaeus where he is one of the creators and the lead teacher of The Odyssey Artist’s Workshop, a Shakespeare and dramatic writing program for the incarcerated and underserved young people of Los Angeles.
